Guide to the compilation of study plans

Guide to the compilation of study plans

The Didactic System of the Single-Cycle Master's Degree course and the Master's Degree course includes a part of compulsory and fundamental courses, which are enlisted in the relative section of the teaching system:

For those parts on which the student can make its own choices, it is necessary to fill in the study plan online (through the Web Self Service), in a specific time frame, that will be communicated to the students each year through the usual channels.

It is possible, within the timeframe dedicated to the compilation of the study plan, to submit a written request to insert a course off the lists provided and among all those offered by the University. Kindly note that undergraduate students will not be able to select master's degree courses (and vice versa). The selected course should have a number of credits associated equal or above the number of credits foreseen for elective courses in one's study plan.

It is possible that the schedules of some elective courses may overlap with each other. For first semester courses, it is necessary to check the lessons’ timetable before making the final choices. For second semester courses, as the timetable is not available yet, students are invited to make their own choices based on their interests and coherence with their educational path. Subsequently, when the timetable of the lessons of the second semester will be published, if, in the event of conflicting schedules, you wish to make a change to the study plan, it will be possible to send a motivated request to the student secretariat (segreteria@luiss.it ) which, after a due check with the Department, will modify the study plan.
